Public Enemy #1 – The Bathroom Scale!

Ever felt like your bathroom scale hated you? From the very first time you set foot on it, it started taunting you? You know you don’t deserve the hatred but it happens every single time you decide to see what it has to say to you.

Well it started a long time ago, when you first laid eyes on a bathroom scale and decided that you needed to get one. You possibly didn’t even realize what you were in for at the time, but that’s when it started. And even before you started to regret your decision to take it home and place it in your bathroom, that scale was mocking you.

It was mocking you because if you were thinking about buying a scale in the first place then chances are a scale was not what you need; perhaps an exercise machine or a monthly membership to your local gym would have been a wiser purchase before you invested in a bathroom scale.

The bathroom scale can be a constant and painful reminder of how many pounds you need or would like to lose. And sometimes it does more harm than good to your motivation. It can taunt you and make you miserable every time you step on and read the figures. What is more miserable than having a supposed friend tell you how fat you are? That is exactly what a bathroom scale is to many people.

So why not fight back? If the battle of the bulge is going to be this long and drawn out, why not make the fight a tad more even’ go do something about the weight! It’s not going to be easy, so be prepared and sometimes the harder you hit the treadmill is the harder you’ll hit the ice cream container! But you got to stick to your guns and hold the fort. If you do decide to enroll in a gym as your weight lost regimen then bear in mind that there will be a scale there too, only this one is much bigger than your bathroom scale and will probably taunt you more. Be prepared to taunt the scale right back week after week as the pounds are taken off!

And if all should fail and the only thing you lose is a few hundred dollars for your gym membership and all that infomercial exercise crap that you bought, then why not just lose the scale? If you can’t beat them, why not join them?

This is by far the best way to beat that fiend that is the bathroom scale.
